What we have done, and what we know is still missing.
How the site is built
- Every listing is in the page as real HTML — the directory works with JavaScript switched off, and search and filters are an enhancement on top.
- Full right-to-left layout in Persian, not a mirrored afterthought.
- Keyboard reachable throughout, with a skip-to-content link and visible focus outlines.
- Buttons and links are at least 44px on touch screens.
- Animation respects
prefers-reduced-motion, and no content depends on animation to be readable. - Images carry alternative text; decorative artwork is hidden from screen readers.
Known gaps
Some listing photographs come from community channels without descriptive alternative text of their own. Where we have no photograph of a business, the card shows a category illustration, and the detail page says so in words. Contrast has been checked on the core pages but not on every one of the 1,200 listing pages.
